We are currently recruiting for new support workers, click HERE for jobs.

You have spoken and it’s official, ENS are a great company to work for!

April 14, 2022

Thank you to everyone that responded to our 2022 agency worker annual survey.  We have now had time to read and review the results and share them with you.

We had a great response to our survey with over 50 people providing feedback from support workers to nurses. Most of the individuals who responded have been working for ENS for over 5 years (54%) followed by 1 to 3 years (21%), 6 months to 1 year (11%) and 3 to 5 years (7%) and under 6 months (7%).

With nearly 80% of workers reporting that they continue seeing themselves working for ENS for the next two plus years.  They said they enjoyed the following the most; flexibility, hours, friendly staff, service users, meeting new people, training and described ENS as responsive, reliable, professional and person centred.  Over 75% felt that the company supported them through the pandemic.

We received positive comments such as:

“I have worked for ENS for 5 years and have had two children in this time.  When I returned from leave on both occasions, I have been supported and allocated shifts to suit my home life. I plan on staying with ENS”

and

“Good company, great to work for ENS”

Of course, there are some things that we could do better to positively enhance your experience of working for ENS.  You would like to hear from us more regularly and although you feel you receive regular praise for your work, you would feel more valued if pay rates, incentives and rewards were increased.  Also, you would like to see recruitment of more care workers, further training opportunities and the opportunity for job role progression.

We have taken this feedback on board and will do our best to improve and communicate any actions we make going forward.

Thank you to everyone who completed our annual survey.  Your response really does matter.  Please stay up to date with our news and updates by following us on social media and regularly checking our website news pages.
